Walking distance from a Stewarts restaurant (85th St and 5th AVE), blocks from shopping on 86 th Street, near public transportation and the hotel was very clean and quiet

I liked the quality-price ratio, that the room had a private bathroom and that breakfast was included in the price . The staff was polite but I have to make a special mention to an employee who was in charge of the dining room where you served your breakfast for being very attentive and always giving you a smile and her happy face.
That many times it was difficult to open the door of the room with the card. We also didn't think it was right that one morning we stayed in the room, putting the sign on the outside so that they wouldn't come to clean the room and then they left us a piece of paper under the door where they called our attention for not having warned them because the hotel director seems to have the right to access the rooms. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. If you pay for a stay until the day it ends, you have every right to allow or not allow them to enter the room to clean. Besides, the next day, a cleaner treated us with a bad face and asked us if we were going to go out or not..

I have called to make sure 3 weekd prior my trip that i can have an extra roller bed in my room and they said yes the maximum is 4 per room for safety- we were 4- so i ccame earlier at 9 am to the hotel to mention it live to the manager there- he said ill see what i can do- came back for chekin at 3pm- he said again ill see what i can do and call u if i have any available- he didnt call- i had to call at night and get nervous and over react mentionning that i have no place to sleep and that u told me it was possible 3 weeks ago when i booked And then he called back later sayin we found one... Im sure he ddnt look prior and just wanted to let this one go-- if an over reactin wouldnt have happened- they manager wouldnt have searched forit? I dont get it- people take vacation in order to feel relaxed- not stress...

We stayed in this hotel for New Years eve. It was a good find. Close to subway easy transit to manhattan. Renovations very nice. Loved the Valet Parking, well worth the $25.00
It was a bit pricey but to be excepted due to New Years Eve.

Honestly, the only thing I don't like is that we have to keep going outside to smoke.
